Fireweed is the first wildflower to grow back after a wildfire. Where the ground is scorched and the landscape looks barren, fireweed rises---bright, steady, and unafraid. It doesn't erase what happened; it grows because of it. Fireweed reminds us that rebuilding is not the opposite of brokenness, but what can grow from the ashes.
The Fireweed Fund was created with this spirit in mind. It offers women the opportunity to participate in Year of Adventure with Rooted & Wild Adventure Co. at no cost during a season of rebuilding--after loss or a major life change. This fund exists to support women as they rediscover themselves, help them to connect with a supportive community of women, and provide experiences that help them to rekindle confidence, hope and possibility for growth even after the most difficult chapters.

This is for women who have graciously offered to contribute to a sponsorship for another woman. Contributions are pooled and used to fund annual Year of Adventure memberships. Once sufficient funds are available, we activate programming for a sponsored participant.
You can contribute any amount toward the fund. Your support helps unlock an entire seasons of outdoor experiences for someone who is in a season of healing and rebuilding. Thank you for your contribution.
**Please note. Sponsorship means your payment goes directly toward covering the the cost of participation for someone who otherwise couldn’t join. Please note that we are non a 501C3 Non-profit and sponsorships are not tax deductible.
